Tournament Time for Windows Help File
Teams in Tournament
You may enter up to 1024 teams for a division and there is no preset limit on the number of divisions that you can schedule. (1024 is the limit because Tournament Time supports 32 teams in each of 32 pools)
Team Name: Enter up to 20 characters for each team's name.
Seed: Used to rank teams. When the tournament is scheduled (and Random Seeding is set to NO), the teams are sorted in ascending order according to their rank and then seeded accordingly. The seeding method you choose on the division information screen will have a major impact on how the teams are scheduled against each other in single and double elimination tournaments. Seeding has no impact on teams in pool play.
You may have more than one team with the same rank. If the Robins, Blue Jays and Orioles are all ranked as 1, then they will be seeded 1,2,3 respectively with teams of the next lower rank following. Unranked teams (blank seed) will be assigned the lowest seeds(highest numbers).
You do not need to enter seed information if you are going to use Random Seeding.
Pool: (Available with Pool Play) Shows the current pool each team is in. You can change this number here to assign teams to pools, or you can use the Pools button on the Division Info screen to assign teams to pools. Changes can be made from either place.
