Tournament Time for Windows Help File

Main Menu

The Main Menu shows at the top of the Tournament Time window. The functions in this menu are not often used, and are put here to make them easily accessible, yet out of the way of creating and managing your tournaments.

• File
  • Explore Divisions -- Launch the League Explorer window. Most Tournament Time functions are accessed through this window.
  • Options -- Set global Tournament Time options. (This option is also available on the "Tools" menu.)
  • Exit -- Exit Tournament Time
• Tools
  • Reindex -- Rebuild Tournament Time's batabase files. This rebuilds indexes and removed deleted records.
  • Shell To Command Prompt -- Execute DOS commands.
  • Backup Files -- Save your divisions and schedules.
  • Restore Files -- Retrieve your divisions and schedules.
  • Erase Text Files -- Delete saved reports that are no longer needed.
  • View File -- View and print previously saved reports.
  • Modify File -- Open a saved report file in Windows Notepad.
  • Calculator -- A nifty on-screen calculator tool.
  • Calendar -- A nifty diary-like calendar tool.
  • Options -- Set global Tournament Time options.
