Index Data

Occasionally, unforseen circumstances (power fluctuations, power outages, Windows crases, bumping the power switch, getting really frustrated and throwing the computer out the window, etc.) will cause damage to the index tables Tournament Time uses.

These indexes can be simply and quickly rebuilt by running "Index Data" on the "Utilities" menu--this function will NOT remove any data that you entered; However, if the damage was to the data files and not the indexes, "Index Data" cannot recover the data, but should get you running again by repairing the data files.

If any of the above examples happens to you, run "Index Data" immediately the next time you start Tournament Time.

Sometimes, Tournament Time will recognize an error in the index tables and start "Index Data" on its own. Just wait for it to complete, and you should be able to continue from where you were!
