Add Results

Enter in the scores for games played in the columns marked Scr-1 and Scr-2 which correspond to the teams. You may also enter the Fair Play points for each team on this screen using the columns marked "FP-x". In the column marked "Winner", use the space bar to cycle through all the choices for win/loss/tie/forfeit (ties and forfeits are only applicable to round robin or Pool Play games).

You do not have to choose a 'W' (Win) or 'L' (Loss) in the "Winner" column unless there is a tie or a forfeit. Tournament Time will automatically update this column as you enter scores during the tournament. However, if the team with fewer points was somehow declared the winner, you must specify them as the winner. Pressing "W" or "L" with the cursor in the Scr-x field is a quick way to select the winner.

When you 'Exit and Save' the results, Tournament Time will evaluate the various teams standings.

SINGLE ELIMINATION BRACKET:

Winners will automatically advance based on all the completed games.

DOUBLE ELIMINATION BRACKET:

Winners and losers will both automatically advance to the proper games.

POOL PLAY:

Don't worry: Tournament Time provides extensive feedback to help you understand how your teams rank in each pool.

When calculating advancement, one pool is processed at a time, and only those pools which have completed all their games are considered. After TT evaluates each pool, it shows you the prospective placements and the supporting statistics. See the help section about "Advancing Pool Winners" for more information about this process.

NOTE:

You can not change any other information except scores, Fair Play points and the "Winner" column when entering scores, and the "Place" column when changing pool placements.
