(def) Shootout
Shootout: When a game would otherwise end in a tie, this method is used to determine the winner of the game.
This is often resorted to in soccer after a time limit has been reached and there is still a tie:
- In international matches, after extra time in international matches, the shootout is determined with penalty kicks.
- in Major League Soccer (and other North American leagues), after regular time the shootout is a one on one match between the attacker (starting 35 yards away) dribbling and attempting to score against the opposing goalkeeper.

"I used to dread little league season, with all the hours of paperwork. Trying to schedule all the teams, registering and keeping track of all the players was an absolute nightmare. Your software was an answer to my prayers!
