Tournament Time for Windows Help File

(def) Pool Play

Pool Play -- This usually refers to a "qualification" period of a tournament. Many teams (up to 512 in Tournament Time) can be divided into "pools", with up to 32 teams per pool (in Tournament Time). Games are then scheduled where teams play only other teams in the same pool. The team standings based on the results of these games then determine which teams are advanced into the Championship Round (and in what order).
