(def) Forfeit

Forfeit -- When a game is cancelled due to negligence on the part of one or both teams, the game is considered forfeit.

The team(s) causing the forfeit are credited with a "Forfeit Loss" which likely will reflect negatively on their point total used to calculate standings.

If either team is not responsible for the forfeit, they can be credited with a "Forfeit Win" so that their point total is not adversely affected.
