Tutorial Step 3: Player Information
Player Information
Player information may be edited in either the Player Information Window or in the Roster Window. The Player Information Window is similar to the league window and team window in the way you edit and add new players. Please note the following characteristics of some of the fields:
- Number: This is the jersey number of the player. If your players have different numbers for home and away jerseys then just put the home number here. You can adjust for away games later.
- Position: You can enter the position that the player normally plays. For example, 'LF' for left field, 'P' for pitcher, or 'UT' for utility. This field is used for reporting purposes only... the stats are not affected in any way!
To delete a player, select the desired player from the list then choose the 'Edit\Delete' menu options.
The player window also allows for trading a player from one team to another. This option should be used when a player switches teams and you wish to continue tracking their lifetime stats.
