Create / Edit Teams

This menu choice opens the "Team Information" window. Here is where you enter new teams, edit existing teams, recalculate team statistics, access team rosters, print team-level reports and print team schedules.

The menu on this "Team Information" window includes these options:

• Edit
  • Line Up -- Select this choice to go to the "Team Line Up" window. You can then use this window to create the default line-up for this team. This window also has menu choices that quickly take you to useful areas of the program, such as team reports and the "Player Information" window for the selected team (the same as you get by selecting "Player Roster"; it's described below). All the choices in the menu for this screen are:
    • Line Up
      • Sort (by Name, Pos or Ord)
      • Reset
      • Create Default
      • Save & Close
    • Stats -- View
    • Players -- Edit Team Players
    • Reports -- Line Up Report
  • Player Roster -- Select this choice to go to the "Player Information" window. You can then use this window to add new players to the team, trade players on the team with other teams, view player statistics, and enter information about the players such as comments, normal position, age, gender and left or right handedness.
• Stats
  • View Player Stats -- Select this choice to see the present statistics for each player on this team. You can also change the players' stats here, which is useful if you are entering the final results of games instead of scoring them entirely using Scorebook.
  • Recalculate -- Select this choice to recaluclate the statistics for games this team is involved in. This will correct any changes you made to statistics using "View Player Stats" above, but will leave alone the final statistics you may have entered for games that you never used Scorebook to score.
  • Delete Stats -- Select this to remove all the statistics that are stored for the selected team. These stats can be recalculated unless they were entered by hand for games that were never scored using Scorebook.
• Reports
  • Team -- View/Print team reports for the selected team.
  • Schedule -- View/Print a schedule including all games the selected team is involved in.
  • Statistics -- View/Print statistics reports for the players on the selected team.
