Equipment Allocation

Allocation

Use this selection to enter the equipment that you are distributing to each team, and again later to record the equipment that has been returned.

When you select [Allocation], the allocation/collection input box will ask you to specify a division and/or team. If you'd like to edit allocations for the entire league, leave both fields empty. If you'd like to edit allocations for a specific division, input the division name. If you'd like to narrow your allocations further, you can input a specific team name as well.

To add an item to the allocation list, click on the [Add] button or press [Alt+A] on your keyboard. An inventory item list will appear - it contains all of the items you defined previously on the inventory screen (see previous section). Select the item and it will be entered into the add allocation dialog box. Input the number of items allocated and the number returned, and then click [OK]. LAS will now ask you which team to give the equipment to. Enter this information and click [OK]. The information you entered will now appear in the Distributed Equipment screen:

You can edit and delete allocation information using the buttons at the top of the window. When you are finished entering your allocations, click the X on the upper right corner of the window or hit the [ESC] key to close it. LAS will save your changes.

The amounts you specify in the allocation list will be used to calculate the amount of total and outstanding equipment in the main inventory. In this fashion, once you have a full inventory list, you need only change the amounts under Allocation to maintain an accurate inventory count.
