Registration Customization

This screen allows you to choose what data items will be tracked by LAS. You can only change the fields on this screen that end with a colon (:). Most fields can be set to "N" for no or "Y" for yes. Yes means that this data item will be shown on the registration screen for entry; no means you need not enter this information and in fact, this data item will not even appear on the registration screen.

There are three fields that are unique, the "user sort" fields. To allow support of a user defined sort field, enter the title you want to use for each field. These then are user defined fields that can be used for player selection on reports and labels. Each field name (label) may be up to 10 characters.

The first two of these "sort fields" are attached to the player records; if you change the data in them in Season "A" then the data is changed for all other seasons, too. The third "sort field" is attached to the registration record; you can have different information in the third sort field for each season or sport.

In USYSA soccer installations, you can use the third "sort field" to indicate whether a player is an "Add", a "Drop" or a "Transfer" by naming this field "USYSA ROS". As long as you have named the third sort field "USYSA ROS" anything you enter there will print on that player's line on the "Official USYSA" rosters.
