Printer Selection
Choose [ Utilities - > Setup - > Hardware ] and click the printer name to show the list of print modes.
You can select:
- WinPrint for Windows & WinPrint for Windows (Landscape) -- These two are the normal modes for printing LAS reports: The report will appear in the WinPrint preview window, then you will have the opportunity to print it to any available windows printer.
- MS Word for Windows
WordPad for Windows
WordPerfect for Windows -- These all cause LAS to create a RTF (Rich Text Format) file and then hand it off to your main wordprocessor so you can then reformat / edit all you want before printing it.
- Notepad for Windows -- This causes LAS to produce plain text reports, then load them into the Windows text editor, Notepad, where you can edit it and print it, or cut-and-paste it into any word processor.
- HTML Driver -- Choose this driver to cause LAS to produce reports in HTML the HyperText Markup Language used in web pages. When you produce a report, LAS will save the report in a temporary file then load that file into your default web browser. You can then use the "View Source" or "Save As" menu choice in your browser to save the file anywhere you want to put right on your own web page.
- None (Use for ASCII files) -- This is similar to "Notepad for Windows", but loads the report into a text editor inside LAS.
