Administrator Access

There are four levels of access:

Basic - Read Only
Normal - Read/Write
Full / Financial - Read/Write + Financial
Administrator - Everything

Basic allows users to look up any information in the database (except financial info) but restricts their ability to change anything (to make sure the data is not corrupted).

Normal allows users to look up any information in the database (except financial info) and permits them to make corrections to any of this data.

Full/Financial allows users to look up any information in the database (including financial info) and permits them to make corrections to any of this data. A "Full/Financial" user is able to backup data.

Administrator Access is necessary to manage the LAS environment. Generally, the features restricted to the administrator are ones that, if executed inappropriately, could have disastrous consequences, such as data loss or privacy breaches.

Administrator Access allows you to control the LAS environment such as:

Restoring the database from previous backups
Creation/Deletion of Seasons
Start New Season
Hardware Setup
Menu Access Control
Multi-Season Reports
Password Management

Multi-Season Selection for some reports is also only available to the administrator. Since none of the other access levels specify access to more than one season at a time, if they were able to produce multi-season reports, there could be privacy issues.
