League Administration Software Help File

Main Menu

Choose the major categories from this menu to get your work done. The choices are:

File

This menu contains the main configuration and utilities for LAS.

Personnel

    This major area of LAS allows you to enter and edit any personnel involved in your program. This includes players and members (parents, sponsors, coaches, etc.)

Schedules

    Use the Schedules section of LAS to manage your league's games. Entering Games, Importing from Gametime, Scores, Standings and Conflict reports are just some of the things you can do and see.

Equipment

    Keep track of all your Equipment. View / Edit your inventory, distribute items to teams, Setup / Distribute "Standard Issue" for divisions, and print out all the reports you can imagine!

Financial

    View your league's financial situation in a number of different ways. See who's paid, who hasn't, and print form letters reminding them that their dues & fundraising amounts are due.

Miscellaneous

    This section allows you to name the divisions for your program and also to create a list of cities to make your registration process easier.

Reports

    This menu gives you quick access to the many reports that LAS offers you. All the choices grouped under this menu can also be gotten to through at least one other path, starting with one of the other main areas of LAS at the Main Menu.

Help

    Three choices are available under this menu: Help, Readme, and About. The Help function can also be accessed at any time by pressing the F1 key or the right mouse button. The Readme choice displays the last minute changes to the program since the users manual went to press. The About choice displays credits for the development of LAS.

Utilities

    This section contains a collection of services to help make management of LAS easier. Included are: backup, restore, index data, DOS command access, file viewer, and LAS setup routines.
