Player Registration

The player data entry screen is displayed from the registration function or from the player update mode. When called from registration, you can access all players, including players from previous years not registered yet. When editing players from the player info screen, only registered players can be manipulated.

In the LAS Complete Edition, all the fields on this screen are configurable by choosing the required fields under the league setup function.

Certain fields, (the registration date, the league registration number, and the player's last name) are auto-filled when you enter "Update Mode". These fields then will change color so that you are reminded that the values being displayed will only be saved if you click on "Register" ... using page up or page down will ignore these new values and not save them as changes.

Other fields (primarily the "Div" field) get filled in as you "tab" through the form: Once you have entered a birthdate for a player his/her age is calculated and displayed, and, as your cursor passes through the current division assignment field LAS looks up the first division that this player could go on (according to the age range specified on each division using Division Update.) and automatically fills in the division assignment for you.
