Import Data

You can import data from any of the following sources:

GameTime Schedules
ASA Softball registration program's export file
AFTF Files (MyTeam.Com, eTeamz.com, Little League official format)
This allows you to import the new AFTF format specification from the Eteamz/MyTeam Web Site and conforms to the newest Little League data exchange format. Using this menu choice allows you to APPEND personnel information to your existing LAS data records. No attempt is made to identify duplicates of players or parents. But, it will eliminate the manual data entry of information coming from Little League or MyTeam.
This new format can also be imported using the League Web Manager plugin. This import can MERGE data from the Eteamz/MyTeam Web site after online registration has occurred.
Old Little League "Download.txt" format (Discontinued by Little League in 2003)
This allows importing of data created in the old Little League download.txt format (prior to 2003). This is a comma delimited ASCII file and allows retrieving personnel data from previous data sources including the Little League discontinued program and the League Organizer program.
This format was discontinued in favor of a more robust file transfer format defined in October, 2002.
MyTeam Desktop databases
This feature will import data directly from the MyTeam Desktop program data files and allow you to move to LAS seamlessly. If you were using the MyTeam Desktop, you can import all the personnel information into the more robust LAS program and begin using LAS to manage your organization.
