GameTime Scheduler for Windows Help File

Tutorial Step 6 -- Scheduling Rules and Generation

Tutorial Step 6 -- Scheduling Rules and Generation

Here you give the final rules that GameTime will use to schedule your games. You specify the number of game each team plays per week and the maximum number of times a specific team could play on any particular day. These default to the most likely values: 2 games per week, one game per day. These default settings are just right for this tutorial schedule.

You can also specify the minimum resting period for a team between games: if you are allowing more than one game per day, this rest is given in minutes, otherwise, it's given as days rest. "Shuffle Games In", which tries to move already-scheduled-games around in the week in order to fit as many games as possible, is especially useful when requiring a minimum rest.

When you click the "Next" button in the wizard you games will actually be scheduled!

"I used to dread little league season, with all the hours of paperwork. Trying to schedule all the teams, registering and keeping track of all the players was an absolute nightmare. Your software was an answer to my prayers!
