GameTime Scheduler for Windows Help File

Tutorial Step 4 -- Defining Field Times

Tutorial Step 4 -- Defining Field Times

This is where you define the fields where games will be scheduled. The default field is called "F1", but to rename it, simply click on the combo box labeled "Fields" and type the new name (for this tutorial: click on "F1" and type "Main Field"). Click anywhere in the grid to create game slots: wherever you click, a game slot (looking like a button) will appear. You can drag these game slots anywhere around on the week; the time that that game slot starts will be shown on the face of the "button".

You can also create field times that are not valid for the entire season: Just select a start and an end date (in the area at the bottom called "Effective Date Span for New Time Slots") before creating the time slots. If you hover on a time slot these date limits appear in the tooltip that is shown. You can also change the dates a specific time slot is valid for by right-clicking it and selecting "Properties".

If you want to remove a time slot, right-click on it and select "Delete", or click once on it and press the "DEL" key, or drag it off the grid onto any other part of the wizard window.

For this Tutorial, click on each day of the week (Mon, Tue, Wed, Thu & Fri) and drag the new time slots to 5:00pm on each day.

Click to continue on to the next step: Global Exceptions and Coordinating Schedules

"I used to dread little league season, with all the hours of paperwork. Trying to schedule all the teams, registering and keeping track of all the players was an absolute nightmare. Your software was an answer to my prayers!
