Documentation Conventions
To aid in clarity and readability in this documentation, certain ways of talking about things have been standardized. These standards, or "Conventions", are used consistently, so that once you are familiar with them, the explanations given will be easier to understand quickly, without extensively explaining the same details over and over. Also, these conventions have been designed to be rather obvious so that you should be able to discern their meaning without looking them up.
However, to quickly clear up confusion, this table is provided to explain these conventions in detail. (Note, also take a look at the Glossary for definitions of commonly referred to words.) The significant part of each example is highlighted in Green.
