GameTime Scheduler for Windows Help File
How do I reschedule rained out games?
Rescheduling rain-outs (or games that have been cancelled for any other reason) is now completely automatic!
Just follow these steps:
- Open your schedule in the Schedule Editor
- Find the game that has been canceled and click on this game (to make it the active game)
- Click on the Details >> button (if the details pages are not yet visible)
- Go to the Game Details page (This is usually the first page that is visible when you first open the details pages).
- Click the checkbox called Rained Out to mark this game as cancelled due to a rain-out. From now on (until it is rescheduled) this game will appear in the schedule grid with a blue background).
Repeat the above steps for each game that has been cancelled. Now, to reschedule all the games that have been marked as rain-outs:
- Go to the Schedule Tools page by clicking on the "Schedule Tools" tab.
- Click the button labeled Schedule Rainouts will appear asking for some parameters.
- Fill in the date to start scheduling the rain outs on (it defaults to today's date) and check whether you want it to ignore the games per week and/or the games per day limitations. Checking these will usually schedule the makeup games much sooner as long as you don't mind slightly overloading the teams involved.
- Click "OK" and GameTime will reschedule all the rainouts for you! A window will appear when it is complete, and the makeup games will appear in the schedule grid with a light blue background. The original games (that were moved into the makeup games) will no longer exist in the schedule.
