Game Ratio

This "ratio" determines how many round robins of intra- division games are produced for each division compared to the number of inter- division games.

· The first number is the number of intra- division round robins for the first division.

· The second number is the number of intra- division round robins for the second division.

· The third number is the number of inter- division round robins to produce compared to the first two numbers.

Under normal circumstances, the first two numbers must be greater than or equal to the third if you want any intra-division games to be created.

However, if you want to create ONLY inter-division games, then change the first two numbers to 0, and set the third to be the minimum number games you want a team to play. The standard games per team grid, in this situation, is ignored completely. ( Note: when generating inter-division games only, if the two divisions have different numbers of teams, then some or all of the teams in the smaller division MUST play more games per team than those in the larger division. Therefore the number you specify is the minimum number of games any team will play. ) This feature is useful for creating "hybrid" schedules by generating parts of schedules and then merging them together in the master schedule. See Determining the Proper Games Per Team for more detail.

"I used to dread little league season, with all the hours of paperwork. Trying to schedule all the teams, registering and keeping track of all the players was an absolute nightmare. Your software was an answer to my prayers!
