GameTime Scheduler for Windows Help File
All Fields (def)
There are several ways that GameTime helps you if your field definitions are identical or very similar to each other. One way is with the "* All Fields *" pseudo-field. It's called a "Pseudo-Field" because it isn't a real field, but you can add time slot availabilities or exceptions to it just like you can to any other field. Anything you do to this pseudo-field, however, applies to every other field. The only places an availability on "* All Fields *" doesn't affect a particular field is if that particular field has an exception that cancels the "* All Fields *" availability. (If you have many variations between fields it may be easier to use field cloning.) Exceptions defined on "* All Fields *" cannot be overridden.
When viewing the individual fields, the availabilities (or exceptions) that are "inherited" from "* All Fields *" will be shown along with any availabilities (or exceptions) defined for that individual fields. The difference is that the inherited availabilities (or exceptions) will be shown with the time on them in italics.
